The Students at the Dual Immersion Academy participate in a school-wide program called the Positive Behavior System. They have named the Bobcat as their mascot and PURR as their motto. PURR stands for behaviors that are Positive, United, Respectful, and Responsible. They have learned and practiced positive behaviors throughout the school, not just in their classrooms. When you visit you will see evidence of this program everywhere. You will see students "purring" in the classrooms, in the hallways, in the restrooms, on the buses, in the cafeteria, and on the playground. Some students have earned a "PURR Ambassador" button to show that they make good choices and demonstrate good behaviors at school.
